Problems with server on my laptop

Hello i didnt no what area to place this topic in anyway, on my pc i have played the server perfectly and i love it however when im on my laptop, i go to play and an error consists stating ' windows cannot find JavaW.Make sure you tped it correctly and try again' i was just wondering if any 1 had any ideas of the java platform i need to download to my laptop (it is new) or any other solutions.
